Trustee Chuck Jones:
“I campaigned on giving a helping hand to those in need in Wayne Township, and the time is now to help our small business community. I recognize the role that small businesses have played in the past for our community, and now our community needs to support them in this time of need.”
Angie Halsey-Owner/Operator McGilvery's Pub & Eatery:
“The opportunity to apply and possibly receive the grant from the Wayne Township Trustee is a godsend. As with all restaurants we are really struggling to survive as we head into our typical slow months. This money will go a long way in helping us stay afloat. I really appreciate that the grant application is short and won't require several hours or days away from operating my business to apply. Kudos to those in charge.”
Marcia Huff-owner of Barbecue & Bourbon:
“The opportunity to apply for the $2,000 grant is huge for us, especially during January which is always the toughest month for us. The quick turn around is awesome, as most of the money available takes months to get.....it would be a big bonus for us!”
